Sato, back in service!

Alright, who really hasn't watched the field repair video!

I'm brand spankin' new to Tenkara and in classic-super-rookie style promptly broke the tip to my Sato. Other than being jacked about the break, the field repair provides some relief knowing the day on the lake wasn't ruined. I know that wouldn't have been the same experience if I broke my western rod tip and, wow I dig hiking even more now knowing I can pull off at a creek or lake and get some casting in.

A quick repair, a sunny day and short hike on the WA-PCT to a little lake = Therapy.
Oh yes, I'm from WA and I Tenkara! (Well, I'm working on it...)

I asked my wife to drive home from the hike and she joked with me that I did that so I could order a replacement tip. That arrived a few days later and I'm all back in business.
