I've been away from the site for a while, so this post is long overdue. Thanks Troutsider, FallfishTenkara, and Dean! It was a fun exercise in dragging that trip out of the old memory banks. I'm hoping for more story contests since it's so inspiring to read about the range of tenkara experiences.

Hey FallfishTenkara, I'm gonna PM ya. When it thaws out, let's go do some climbing and fishing in that section. There's a ton of stuff in that area that I'd like to knock out, and very few of my climbings friends fish or fishing friends climb.
