Using Hackle Pliers To Tie a Single & Doubble Davey Knots

This is the best explanation and video I have seen yet on how to tie these Davey knots and would be a real aid under windy conditions with light tippets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NTVZAZ0xQA

Since a lot of anglers may not have the Hackle Grabber type of spring loaded plunger hackle pliers because they may not tie flies, and most of us carry forceps to unhook fish with anyway, you can very effectively tie the Single and Double Davey Knots using just your forceps in the place of the hackle pliers, just as it was shown in the video. And, I believe, it is even easier because the forceps slide out of the loops smoothly and easily and do not tend to catch on the tippet the way the "L" shaped flange on the Hackle Grabber pliers can do. Besides that, who needs to carry another extra piece of gear? Try it both ways if you have the Hackle Grabbers and see what you think.
