Hand furling machine

I just ordered (2017) a hand furling machine from Amazon. It's called "Orimupasu string", it is shipped from Japan. It is OneNote the least expensive devices I have found for making furled tenkara lines. Can do 2 or 3 strand leaders. I have seen it in some other posts. So will have to keep a update when I receive it!

I'm curious how it works out. It doesn't look easy to mount on a furling board. I am very anxious to hear more about the lines you are able to make.

I didn't mount the furler on my board. Take each leg off the butt end hooks on the board, and put them on two hooks of the hand furler. Turn the handle to twist the legs until you shrink the line your 10%. Then turn the switch on the furler and turn in the opposite direction so both legs furl. Still in a learning stage. But the ones I have made looked good.

オリムパス・ストリング2 ・撚り( orimupasu sutoringu2 yori) Olympus String 2 Twister

And the rest of the name : 高速式回転ひもより器 : · High speed type rotating cord instrument.

How to use it (for it's original design purpose) :

That tool looks a lot simpler than this set up 自作テーパーライン の仕上げ, Finishing my own taper line:
