Hey guys,

On Saturday early AM I'll be leaving for a 2-week long trip to Japan, and will return on June 8th. I'm incredibly excited and have been looking forward to this for many months. Soon after I arrive I'll be meeting Dr. Ishigaki and Mr. Yoshikazu Fujioka for 3-4 days of fishing along with an old-time friend from Japan. Then I'll be traveling and fishing for a few days, and will participate in a big gathering of fly anglers (western and tenkara) for a couple of days. I hope to be able to post pictures and possibly videos as the trip progresses, but won't promise anything.

Orders will continue to go through as normal, we have a call center in place for minor inquiries and order placement, but any questions about products, most customer service inquiries (all of which is handled by me), and rods that need to be sent to us may go unanswered until I return on June 8th. For questions about the products, I'd definitely encourage use of the forum, browse around (most questions have already been asked) or ask a new question. Thanks for everyone who continues pitching in to the forum.

I glanced though your blog this morning but didn't have time to read it all. I will as soon as I get back from work. Looks very informative Daniel. I would like to get one of those nets. They are really beautiful. Shipping would probably make it prohibitive though.

Welcome back Daniel! I'm glad that you had a great trip and especially that you had the opportunity to learn the way of tenkara from such great teachers. Please share all that you learned so that we all can go even deeper into tenkarado. All help is very much appreciated!
