Hello everyone,
I'm planning to buy a Tenkara rod, but I'm still undecided on which one to go for.
I have narrowed it down to either Iwana or Yamame. I fish in Belgium, in Flanders, where we have less trout-specific rivers. The species I am likely targeting are small pike, perch, chub aaaaand... carp.
And thats where I'm unsure. I'm afraid the Iwana might be too light for the carp that swim in our waters.
Is the Yamame also fine for going after the small, more delicate stuff, aswell as the big fish ? Any of you have experience with landing carp on an Iwana ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
