What are the other ESSENTIAL pieces of equipment you carry with you? How do you pack? How do you hold your gear while fishing? Fly boxes? Snips? you tell us.

Mosquito Coil Holder

Postby Adam Trahan » Sun Jun 08, 2014 7:16 am

Last year when I went to Japan, my friends all used mosquito coils while fishing. Lots of mosquitos but none on us!

Now I have been using them at home while fishing.

No mosquitos at home or biting flys.

I don't like being stung or bitten.

Anyway, there is a little discussion at Tenkara-Fisher, I want to share my enthusiasm over this necessary fishing item here.

Have fun!

^ They are great. I take 2 when bowhunting. Only thing I have ever used that works in the south in Sept.

If you aint high sticking, you aint fishing hard enough.

Sold at lots of places in Hawaii. Works great.
Why let the truth stand in the way of a good fish story.

Can you hang that holder from your pack or something or is it to big of a fire/burn danger? I move from hole to hole fairly quickly and can't see how it would help if It is on the bank while I am mid stream.

Hopefully this'll be the solution I have been looking for to get rid of those stupid mosquitoes.
