Beautiful brown trout

Postby jbenenson » Thu Jun 24, 2010 4:59 pm

I caught this beautiful fish today on my Ebisu. He took a #16 Super Prince nymph. I wanted to show you why this stream has the most beautiful brown trout in the world. The phoho is the best that I could do; in real life it was a lot better. Notice the light turquoise rings around the red spots and the amazing gold color.

I would like to have the modest contact with the nature in hope of continuing the beautiful streams forever

I'm sure that was a beautiful fish! Photos often just don't do justice to the real thing, which is why I find photographing fish to be fairly frustrating.

It's funny with brown trout the species really has some incredible variation! Sometimes you catch one that is really striking, though often they're not that visually interesting. I find the unique variations in color really fascinating.
