Had the pleasure of fishing the south fork american river with Lightworker this morning. The scenary was beautiful! Picture perfect tenkara stream. Lightworker got the only fish of the trip, but it was still a BLAST! I can't wait to go back and try again. Thanks Lightworker for an awesome fishing trip!

Oh! There you go again with the American. 7 hours isn't a long trip for some water like that. We'll be hitting it up at the end of the month if the water level stays low enough.
Edit:
I looked up the water levels in May and it looks like if the flows go up like last year it may hit 2500 CFS. What do you guys think? Should we postpone a trip until later in the summer?
So I drove across the south fork today. Almost had to stop the water looked perfect just perfect. I'm not sure about the end of may but if it's anything like today there would be no complaints. I'm pritty pumped I'm gonna check out a couple of spots around here this weekend. Hoping to have 2 or 3 nice places to fish for that weekend.
