Fished a tail water just as the water was receding we hit the water. Made about three casts with an 18 Griffiths Gnat and hooked a nice little Bow, the rod took the most beautiful bend in it. Changed flies a few more times and ended up with a 22 emerger that I tie with a little CDC and thread. Caught about five more the largest about 10 ins. Playing those trouts on the 13 ft rod was a blast. I used the Tenkara line and found it cast well but I did have some spray with it. The next outing will be with one of the lines that were sent to me by a member.

Congratulations on a successful day! I took mine out last weekend but wasn't able to catch any fish on it. It casted well but I guess I just didn't have the touch that day. I was with a couple of friends and they had a little better success than I did. But I'm learning.
